Nutrition policy
Hero children’s centres feel responsible and delicious food is of the utmost importance. We have put together a varied range of food and drinks at all our locations, based on advice provided by the nutrition centre.
Healthy nutrition and plenty of exercise are very important where the raising of our children is concerned. We are aware that children’s eating habits are very much influenced by their parents’ life vision. As co-educators, we are tasked with encouraging children to eat and drink a healthy and varied diet. That’s why we opt for products with as few as possible additives, such as sugars, salt, fats and artificial colours and flavourings. The nutrition centre provides excellent guidelines for a healthy nutritional policy, based on the Food Pyramid. That’s why we offer children as much food as possible which forms part of this. It goes without saying refrigerated breast milk or any special diet food forms part of the possibilities too.
Sustainable food
We think sustainability is also incredibly important in addition to a healthy diet. We therefore always include care for the environment and the prevention of waste in our product choice. That’s why we will always opt for food which has been produced with respect for people, animals and the environment whenever possible.
